The FOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD All the food we had was AMAZING!!! We didn't have dessert because we wanted to go to La Romana after, but I can only imagine that it would be great!!! Butttt the Carbonara!!! OMG, the Carbonara with capital "C", it was heavenly!!! If you come here, please please just do yourself a favour and order it!! The savoury Maritozzo were also super super nice and refreshing after a trip of pasta and pizza for 4 days in a row If you plan to visit and then see that the restaurant is empty, go inside still, we did not regret it and you also won't

We really enjoyed our dinner at Il Maritozzo Rosso last night. The owners Francesca and Eduardo, were incredibly friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu since we weren’t entirely sure what Maritozzi were. They were so welcoming, always smiling, joking, and chatting with us and the other guests. While digital menus are great for the environment and convenient for the restaurant, it would have been a bit easier to navigate if everything were also available on a single paper menu. The carbonara and the Roman-style ragù pasta were delicious, and the meatball Maritozzo was also very tasty. We had the local red wine too, which was lovely at €7 per glass. We want to try their other takeaway restaurant now too! Grazie!

You've got to try this place. They have amazing food and drinks, especially the maritozzo. We went in one evening just to have some desserts with drinks and decided to come back the next day for dinner. Totally worth it! Congrats to your lovely staff!

Excellent restaurant with a wonderful menu and amazing service. We absolutely loved the vegetarian carbonara, something we didn’t know was possible. Next time we are in Rome we will definitely come again!

We had savory maritozzi as an appetizer, they were okay, the bun was a bit dry. We had a carbonara and ravioli, sadly we’re not fans of the carbonara in general so I cannot review it properly. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily they had an open table

Everything was absolutely amazing! The Carbonara was hands down the best we've ever had—just like Vincenzo Prosperi (from Vincenzo's Plate) promised. The Maritozzi were on another level ! We tried the one with codfish, hummus, and radish, as well as the eggplant parmigiana Maritozzo—both were incredible. Our only suggestion to enhance the experience would be to have more staff attending the tables. With just three people covering the dining area, terrace, and billing on a busy Friday night, it felt a bit understaffed. Just to be clear, they were doing their best—the issue stemmed from management.

Came here for lunch which was a great pick! Meatballs were good tho small. Cacio e pepe was amazing a must have. Carbanara was also a must have. Price point to food portion a little off but quality does make up for it.

We had dinner at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it!! The pasta was authentic and delicious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The place is clean and cozy, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!!
